As an excellent cycling destination, the Marais poitevin is perfect for biking lovers.
Two long-distance cycling routes are crossing the Marsh:

> The Vélodyssée® – A Eurovelo route connecting Norway to Portugal on 1 400 kilometres of routes. www.velodyssey.com
> The Vélo Francette® – This route connects Ouistreham in the Calvados department to La Rochelle, by crossing the Marais poitevin, from Niort to the Aiguillon Bay. http://cycling.lavelofrancette.com
