After a short historic explanation of the origins of the Marais poitevin, the harbour is showing you its past activity.
A backward step of 60 years, where everything was done by boat. More than 100 volunteers on the spotlight bring back to life different scenes from the past, through the seasons, without nostalgia but with a desire to show and explain the specificities of a unique territory.
An opportunity to see period costumes for the first time or again, but also the transportation of horses by boat, raft, a wedding in the Marsh, different traditional ways of fishing…
