Following a trial year with four embarkation points, new businesses are now eager to become partners of the Park and the Heritage Foundation (“Fondation du Patrimoine”). To date, 10 companies have joined the initiative. Whenever a visitor rents a boat without a guide or a bike from one of these businesses, 50 cents will be donated to the Park through the Heritage Foundation. The rental price for visitors does not increase; it is covered by the partner organization.

The Tête de Mule brewery has launched production of the “Bière du Marais”: for every bottle sold, €0.50 will be donated to the Heritage Foundation.

Planting starting in 2024.

This agreement is effective starting this spring, for a duration of three years. The funds raised during the 2024 season will be used to finance tree planting initiatives led by the Park next year, in the areas covered by the participating businesses.

Through this initiative, these service providers demonstrate their commitment to an exceptional and evolving landscape; everyone can contribute to the collective effort and the preservation of this unique landscape. For visitors, staying in the Marais Poitevin offers a sensory experience of the area, an ideal immersion to appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the landscape that must be preserved.

This commitment is encouraging, and the Park invites all service providers who wish to get involved to join the movement.
